Eliminate the variables that cause costly surprises

With heated paddles, there are 3 variables that can lead to faulty, costly splices. Many of these errors are undetectable to the naked eye — there is often no way to spot a faulty splice until it breaks.

1. Wrong or inconsistent pressure applied by hand can create uneven welds. Too much pressure and molten material is pushed out the sides, resulting in a weak connection at the middle of the belt ends. Too little pressure and bonding is uneven, resulting in soft spots for a weak connection.

2. Misalignment of belt ends can cause weak joints as less than 100% of the belt ends are fused.

3. Guesswork on the temperature of the paddle can cause uncertainty. Did enough material melt to create a solid splice? Is the temperature the same over time or has the device lost its ability to generate consistent heat?

The Jewel eliminates all these variables and the guesswork that can lead to a faulty splice.

• General one-year warranty on RS02 Friction Welder.
• 3 month warranty on repairs (including parts and workmanship).
• Welders older than 5 years can be repaired without extended warranty.
